Welcome to a new blog devoted to online education - especially higher education and more especially at the University of Mary Washington UMW). There are a number of great blogs out there discussing distance education, instructional design and instructional technology, so how is this one different? Well, UMW is unique, isn’t it and so are we all. So this will be my personal take on the issues, challenges, and opportunities in delivering instruction online here at UMW.
